  1. Where are you located in 2025?

Location of the camp: 525 Moira Street West

We are a mobile summer camp, moving all day. We move every half or full activity session. We move by bike or walk! Because of the extended lockdown this year, the Community use of schools, the Corporation of the City of Belleville and all non profit organizations in Belleville cannot rent us their facilities. Therefore, we will meet at the staging/lunch/water play area at 525 Moira Street West.

  1. Camp is still on and starting July 2nd 2024.
  2. How are campers paired up?
    • Campers are paired by age at the beginning of camp only by the Director’s discretion.
  3. What is a typical day?
    • 8:45 – 9:00am :Arrival/temp checks/sign-in 9:00 – 9:15 am : Field games/late campers/check bikes 9:30 am – 10:30 am : Module*
    • 10:30 am – 10:45 am : snack
    • 10:45 am – 11:45 am : Module*
    • 12:00 – 12:45 : Lunch
    • 1:00 pm – 2:15pm : Module*
    • 2:15pm – 2:45 pm : snack
    • 2:45 pm – 3:30 pm : Module*
    • 3:30 pm – 4:00 pm: Huge field games
    • 4pm : Camper pick-up
  4. When do we have to pay the $50 enrollment fee? What about the balance?
    • The $50 no refundable enrollment fee is due upon registration (and applied to your camp enrollment fee) to hold a place for the camper, for that week. Full balance of $289 is due on the Thursday before camp day.
  5. What about refunds? What if I change my mind for ANY reason after I have paid for anything?
    • Their are NO refunds, only credits towards a future purchase
    • The $50 enrollment fee is forfeited.
  6. Do you have before and after care?
    • Yes. Before care starts at 8:00 am and after ends at 5:00 pm .
  7. Can my child be put in the same group as his friend/family member?
    • Absolutely…if they are in the same age range.
  8. What do you do if it rains?
    • We usually know the weather 10 days out, so we prepare for it. From arts and crafts under the main tent in separated pods, to a slip and slide wacky contest, we keep the campers safe and entertained!
  9. Bicycles…do we drop them off every day or do you keep them for the week?
    • Bicycles are dropped off on Monday morning and picked-up on Friday at 4:00 pm. We keep them at base camp, locked up for the week at night.
  10. Is there a discount for multiple campers and/or multiple weeks?
    • Yes
  11. When is the last day to register my child for camp?
    • The Wednesday before camp day Monday.
  12. Do you offer single day drop in rates?
    • Yes. The price is $80
  13. My child is 6 years old today, but is very keen and will be 7 years old by camp day…is that okay?
    • Absolutely!
  14. Do you provide bussing?
    • Not this year.
  15. What is your camper to counselor ratio?
    • We are have 8 campers to 1 counselor: the camp director, paid counselors, L.I.T’s and C.I.T’s and various screened adult volunteers float from group to group.
  16. Can parents ever stay and observe camp?
    • No, not for any reasons. Taking pictures of any campers without permission will be dealt with swiftly.
  17. How many participants per camp and why so few numbers at a time?
    • We have room for only 24 campers at a time; we keep our camps small, safe and simple, We have never had an injury.
  18. How old is the minimum campers age ?
    • Must be 7 years old on the first day of camp. There are no exceptions and no refunds.
  19. What if I forget my campers (lunch / Covid pack / bicycle ) ?
    • One will be provided for the camper at the advertised rate.
  20. When is the best time to book our camps?
    • Now. Think only 24 spots . Book early to avoid disappointment.
  21. When do we expect you to arrive at your camp?
    • Between 8:45 am and 9:00 am. Please be patient as we endeavor to get all campers signed in and parents on their way!
  22. What happens when you cancel your application before camp starts ?
    • The first $50 is non refundable. The balance already deposit will be credited towards another camp week, up to 1 year.
  23. What happens if a camper physically, or verbally abuses or threatens another participant, staff member or counsellor?
    • There is no second chance. Parents are called immediately and the camper forfeits their spot and fees.

*(hiking, biking, rock climbing, slip and slide, building forts, jousting, obstacle course running, capture the flag, arts and crafts, flying big kites, learning bicycle skills, free time, Olympic day, crazy signs…way too much to list!)
